Growing up in an Air Force household, there were always new cultures to explore and a large part of those cultures were food. Chef Kate has experienced the foods of Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Switzerland, the Azores and various parts of America in her travels.

    Cooking was always a passion of Kate's and she had plenty of practice at home with a mother who cooked and a grandmother who graduated from Fannie Farmer Cooking school in Boston MA and then entered the restaurant business.

    Kate is married to a Navy man currently stationed in Norfolk, VA.  While stationed in Colorado Springs, she held the chef's position at a daycare.

    Kate discovered Personal Cheffing through an ad in a cooking magazine ad and in researching this career found the welcoming family of Personal Chefs Network.

    Chef Kate looks forward to serving whatever food related needs you might have.
